Notes/Warnings: This is the first drabble I have ever written...ever. So this is an accomplishment. This is also the first piece of real fanfiction I've written since...2003. Its feels good to be writing again.


There are times when I wish I didn't have to constantly think in numbers. I just...can't think like other people...when I look at all the things that surround me all I see are the numbers that created them. Even the most mundane things are transformed into an equation or an algorithm. And matter what I do, I will never be able to free myself from these numbers, they are both my blessing and my curse. Other people see what I have as a gift, but all it really is is an obsession. An obsession hidden by the mask of knowledge.
