Rating/Category: PG13

"Well, shit."
"I certainly did not see that coming."
Charlie and Larry stood looking at the remains of their planned freshman physics experiment.
"Did we just break about seven laws of physics?"
Larry nodded, still staring in shock at what remained of the table he'd borrowed from Dr. Orson's classroom. Not asking permission first seemed a bad idea in hindsight.
"Yes, I believe we did."
A silence fell over the room as both Charlie and Larry scratched the back of their necks in consternation.
"I suppose trying again is out of the question," Charlie ventured.
"Oh my fine friend, we're lucky no one called the fire department on us this round," Larry said, wagging a finger. "If we fail a second time and the results are proportionally unexpected then we might be lucky to still have jobs when it's over."
"If it goes worse a second time we might be lucky to have our lives," Charlie retorted.
"Point taken," Larry mused. Charlie pulled out his cell phone and speed dialed. "Who are you calling?"
"My brother," Charlie answered. "Explosions are more his thing anyway."
Larry nodded sagely. "It's definitely not ours."
"Hey bro," Charlie said when Don picked up. "Say, can you tell me the best way to get in touch with the bomb squad and not have them think we're about to blow up the campus... again?"
